| Forts of Antigua at Museum tonight |

Tonight, the general public is being invited to view Forts of Antigua; a multimedia presentation which will be shown at the Museum of Antigua and Barbuda on Long Street. Vice President of the board of directors at the museum, Agnes Meeker will be conducting the historic presentation, with the aid of a few members of staff. Images and momentous recollections of these historic landmarks will be made. The presentation is expected to travel along the centuries, and Antigua’s past, as being one of the most heavily fortified places in the world. The event is slated to begin at 7 p.m sharp in the upstairs gallery and a donation of EC$20 is being requested of each attendee. Along with the donation, will be complimentary wine, sodas, cheese and other finger foods.  The management and staff of the Museum of Antigua and Barbuda is requesting the public’s support as the presentation will serve as a fund-raiser to provide air conditioning for the building. |
