A post-mortem on the body of a 10-year-old child has revealed that he died as a result of cerebral edema (or cerebral oedema) an excess accumulation of water in the intracellular and/or extracellular spaces of the brain) due to anaemia. Reports are that his condition was associated with a laceration (cut) to the chin. At the conclusion of the examination on the body of Kadege Devin Roberts of Cooks Hill, the government’s pathologist issued a death certificate. Roberts, according to reports, died suddenly last week after feeling unwell. Reports are the child was rushed to the Mount St. John Medical Centre (MSJMC) where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. The police were notified and initial investigations were conducted pending the results of the post-mortem. |
